Employment Development Department Veteran Representatives

Located at the VA Medical Center at 795 Willow Road, the Next Step is a non profit organization that was established to assist the unemployed veteran in obtaining employment. Our aim is to increase the employability of veterans and the advancement of those already employed.

County Veteran Service Officer

The C.V.S.O. acts as a liason between the veteran and the Department of Veteran Affairs in completing paperwork for accessing their benefits.

Peninsula Vet Center

  The Veterans Employment Committee of San Mateo County, California is a non-profit organization 501 (c) (6) under the Internal Revenue Service. We are a social welfare organization and are comprised of representatives of all the Veteran Service Organizations in our county. 

The V.E.C. promotes the employment of veterans in San Mateo, California. Membership consists of E.D.D., local employers, and other representatives from government and civilian organizations.
