Avenue of the Flags
The Avenue of the Flags Committee of the Golden Gate National Cemetery are: Phil Kurokoawa, President; Ralph Hornbrook, Vice President; Angela Dunbar, Secretary and Richard Dunbar, Treasurer.
The committee acknowledges the cooperation rendered by the City of San Brumo. Director James Fitzgerald and his staff at Golden Gate National Cemetery, and those members of Veteran organizations who helped prepare the program.
We acknowledgte the dedication of a plaque and the joint effort of the Order of the Founders and Patriots of America in being a part of the Avenue of the Flags Committee.
The Avenue of the Flags Committee was formed in 1977. Flags are flown on Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, and Veterans Day. Membership is $1.00 per year and you are cordially invited to join. Address all correspondence to Avenue of the Flags Committee, P.O. Box 444, San Bruno, CA 94066.
Flag donations and contributions of $35 for a flag pole are always welcome. Donors are presented with a certificate and names are recorded in the Book of Records in the Cemetery office.
