Michael Hayder Von Hayderschatte , grandson of the original Von Haydershatte, and his family embraced Lutheranism and for this act his entire estate was confiscated. This was in consonance with the persecutions of the Catholic Church about 1675.

The grandson of the first baron came to America. Michael (Von Haydershatte) Henneschied came from Munich, landing in New York in 1710. He was born in 1674 in Bavaria, Germany. He was  married in Vienna, Austria to Lady Catherine Ann von Heinrichschofen,  born in 1680, daughter of Sir Herrn Frans Christoph von Hennih zu. Heinrichashofen,  Minister to the Court of Regansburg and he had been ennobled May 15, 1675 by Emperor Leopold I of Germany.  Michael and Katherine and three children came to America on the ship "Lyon" in 1710.

Michael Henneschied settled first in New York State, then moved his family to New Jersey, settled on the Millstone River near the forks of the Raritan River and the Millstone River in Hunterdon County, then moved to New Germantown (now Oldwick), New Jersey.

He built a stone mansion called "Hohenhausen."   The house was sold in 1758. This home was in the family for two generations and still stands in very good condition. This name was anglicized to "High House", with the family name intended to be written Hendershat.
