Meeting called to order:  Sheryl Shaffer led Pledge of Allegiance and welcome.  Roll called.

Minutes of last meeting:  No minutes were submitted for September 2006 meeting. All 2006 minutes are available for reading on our web site www.vecsamnt.org.

Not enough members present for a quorum.  The Election of Officers for 2007-2008 will be postponed until the March 19, 2007 meeting.

Correspondence:  Helen stated we received a bill from the Media Center for a late cancellation fee of $25.00.  The Media Center requests a 2week notice so they can reschedule the time slot and if we do not cancel in time, we have to pay the cancellation fee of $25.  Phil was reimbursed for the deli tray he provided for the TV show done in September.

Secretary/Treasurer Report:  Helen Wong reported account balances and submitted transaction reports. 

 Next Step Center: Rose Sutton was excused.  Rose hosted a TV show in September and October. The Sept. taping featured Phil Kurokawa and the October taping featured Michael Taylor

World of Vets Report:  Joseph Cody was excused.

County Veterans Service Officers Report:  Jim Kenney was excused.

E.E.D. Staff:  The EDD staff of Daly City has merged with the EDD staff of San Carlos. Michael Taylor said he just returned from the NVTI course in Denver, Colorado and will be off for the holidays. Sheryl reminded Lucio and Michael that the EDD not only is required to pay for postage for our newsletter but that the Vet Rep can print up the newsletter. Since no newsletter was submitted for September, Sheryl said she would do the minutes, create the newsletter and e-mail the newsletter to Michael Taylor and Lucio Vera so that it can be printed and mailed.

TV Show:  Sheryl Shaffer asked Michael Taylor if he would be a guest in March 20, 2007 for a TV show about EDD’s outreach and services for Veterans. He agreed. Sheryl will also contact Ken Schieck of EDD to be the other guest.

New Business Decisions:  Nothing presented but a reminder to all of our meeting dates.

FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER: Please note that we meet once a quarter and that the meeting dates will held on March 19, 2007, June 18, 2007, September 17, 2007 and December 17, 20067.  We encourage you to join us and participate as we would like to keep our VECSM going but we need you to help us. Please mark your calendar.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
